AdmissionsSlippery Fish is excited to welcome new members and we are currently accepting applications for the 2017-2018 school year. A co-op is a unique approach to early childhood education that requires a major commitment on the part of families, with the benefit of joining a supportive community of parents looking to grow and learn together. While the application is below, we ask that families to attend an information session first and determine whether we are a fit for your family. Once you’ve attended an information session and submitted an application, we will schedule an additional tour (playdate) for you and your child during program hours. Your child need only meet the age requirements for each program in order for you to apply. We have no potty-training requirements and you may apply at anytime throughout the year (outside of the regular admissions schedule) for spots that may become available.

Admissions Decisions

Admissions decisions are made based on available spots in our programs. We offer spots to current and alumni families first and then open spots for new families based on program balance. Every year, we have limited spots available in our Koi and Flying Fish programs when we send offers in March. However, family needs and plans often change and things do occasionally shift. If you are an excited new family, we hope we have a spot for you and encourage you to apply.

If we are not able to offer you an immediate spot in one of our programs, you will automatically be placed on our waitlist unless you request removal. As spots open up, we will contact you according to program needs (age, gender, diversity). We encourage you to keep in touch with us from time to time if you remain interested in a spot at our school.
